Our custom personalized Holy Land olive wood comfort crosses, sometimes referred to as holding crosses, palm crosses, or prayer crosses, are individually hand-carved and smoothly sanded from a single piece of olive wood pruned from the olive trees that flourish around the holy city of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus located just south of Jerusalem. The grain pattern of each olive wood comfort cross is distinctively unique, magnificently created by our Heavenly Father just as He has created each of us.

We pray that the Holy Land olive wood comfort crosses serve as a reassuring reminder that God is with you always and everywhere. As you cling to His promises, we pray that you are comforted by the knowledge that your days are held securely in His hands.

Measurements: Each olive wood cross is hand carved. The measurements listed below are approximate.
- Small cross: 2.5" x 1.5" x 0.4"
- Large cross: 3.5" x 1.75" x 0.5"
Font Options: Traditional block or casual script font options are available.
Inscription Length: Engravable space allows for up to 20 characters/spaces MAX per side on the SMALL cross or up to 25 characters/spaces MAX per side on the LARGE cross. Comfort crosses are ideally suited to add a name, date, scripture reference, or short phrase that holds personal meaning & significance.
Inscription Instructions: Please be sure to double check your spelling and desired capitalization before submitting your order. Custom personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange.
Scripture Verse Presentation Card Options: Six scripture verse presentation card options are available. The Romans 15:13 card is included by default ("May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit").

Quality Standards: We carefully curate and personally hand-select each olive wood comfort cross ensuring that every cross meets AA standards. (AA olive wood crosses feature grain pattern on both sides of the cross and contain no cracks or fills.) Inscriptions are deeply engraved into the olive wood. The engraving is permanent and will not wear or fade away.
Origin & Significance: About the Artist: Mosleh Workshop is located in Beit Sahour, a Palestinian village on the east side of Bethlehem. Olive trees have been growing on this land for thousands of years. In an area with few opportunities, the creation of olive wood comfort crosses by local Christian craftsmen supports the families of Christians in the land of Christ.
Sustainability: The olive wood used to create your Holy Land comfort cross has been harvested from the trimming of the olive wood tree branches. This annual pruning process is designed to improve the overall health and productivity of living trees.

Personalized olive wood cross

I ordered a personalized olive wood cross. Oh my goodness it is perfect its so beautiful! It came with a card that explains where its from and why its special in a cute little bag ! Also the thank you card was so sweet and there was even a little business/scripture card that came with a penny with a cross! The shipping was so fast !
