Tote Bag Essentials for Summer Adventures

Now that fresh school supplies are leaping off the shelves, be sure to make the most out of these last glorious, care-free, days of summer. Toss the essentials in one of our natural cotton drawstring tote bags and head out for adventure. Here's a few ideas on what you may want to bring along to enjoy and survive these dog days of summer.

Natural Cotton Drawstring Quote Tote Bag - Adventure is Waiting - "I don't care how long it takes me, I am going somewhere beautiful.  Buy the ticket, take the ride.  Spread your wings, adventure is waiting. There is still so much to see."

  • Refillable Water Bottle & Light Snacks - Check out these oh so yummy packable snack ideas from the one and only Martha Stewart.  Yes...go on, she's a real person just like you and can do it!
  • Sunscreen & Sunglasses - Burn rubber, not your skin, as you hit the open road...Visit Fodor's Travel  to explore ideas for quick getaways and interesting places to "Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air."  And if by chance, you happen to receive a speeding ticket while burning rubber, please, for goodness sake, do not lower your sunglasses to your nose and tell the officer to put it on your tab.
  • Lip Balm - I must admit, I am thoroughly addicted to lip balm. Visit DIY Natural for an easy recipe to make your own fabulous natural lip balm. I'm wondering...if it's natural, does that mean that you can eat it? Not that anyone I knew ever ate Chap-stick as a kid...strawberry was my favorite.
  • Wide Tooth Comb & Hair-ties or Hair-Clips - Summer is the perfect time to try out a new hairstyle to beat the heat. Tired of putting up your hair in a ponytail? Here's a helpful tutorial for quick, beautiful summer hairstyles.
  • Headphones & Phone - Take some time to sit back, relax, and tune in K-LOVE to sing along with your favorite Christian artists. Perfect timing...they happen to be running a contest to win a free family vacation from Toby Mac!
  • A Good Read - Be sure to check out: One Light Still Shines by Marie Monville. Prefer magazines?  Be sure to visit Sonoma Christian Home. Online subscriptions are free!  They feature encouraging devotionals, and a delightful collection of food, faith, family, and design articles to keep you entertained for hours!

Be safe and have fun out there!

Blessings to you today and always,

Deborah @ Clothed with Truth
